Job Description

Up to 20 hours per Week | Schedule will vary depending on student's class schedule. Assist with the set-up and take- down of micro labs including moving specimens to/from incubator Prepare lab materials, specimens, and equipment for scheduled classes and experiments Set up and clean lab benches, glassware, and instruments before and after use Restock supplies and assist with inventory of chemicals, models, and tools Label and organize samples, slides, and biological materials as directed Follow all safety procedures and assist in maintaining compliance with lab safety protocols Dispose of biological waste properly in accordance with college and state guidelines Assist faculty and staff with special projects, demonstrations, or events related to the biology program High School Diploma Excellent English communication skills Ability to frequently bend, stretch, and lift
