Learn how you can start or jumpstart your career with us. We are seeking a motivated and hands-onLaboratory Technician to join our newly establishedEuropean Technical Center in Meyrin, Switzerland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support R and product development activities within a dynamic international environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing, managing samples and materials, supporting technical documentation, and ensuring efficient laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities Performmechanical and electrical testing of products, components, and materials. Conduct and support testing involvinghigh-voltage equipment (preferred experience). Perform additionalthermal and environmental testing as required. Prepare, maintain, and updateStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory work instructions. Support the preparation, packaging, and shipment ofR samples to internal sites and external customers. Manage laboratory inventory, including materials, consumables, test samples, and equipment. Coordinate sample receipt, registration, storage, and disposal. Track and manage sample reservations, requests, and deliveries to ensure timely availability. Maintain accurate testing records and generate test reports. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and operating procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory and technical center. Qualifications& Experience Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Laboratory Technology, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of laboratory or technical testing experience. Experience withmechanical and electrical testing is required. Experience working withhigh-voltage equipment is highly desirable. Knowledge ofthermal testing and environmental testing methods is an advantage. Experience in SOP development and technical documentation. Familiarity with inventory management and sample logistics processes. Skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with local and global teams. Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Fluent inEnglish (written and spoken) is required. French and/or German language skills are considered a strong advantage.
