Join our laboratory team as a Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist and play an essential role in helping physicians diagnose and treat patients through accurate specimen collection, processing, and laboratory support. As a key member of the laboratory team, you'll interact directly with patients while supporting critical testing and diagnostic services. From specimen collection and patient registration to laboratory operations and quality patient care, your work will help ensure timely and accurate results that impact lives every day.

What You'll Do:
Patient Care & Specimen Collection Collect and process patient specimens for laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures. Perform specimen collection while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality. Provide compassionate care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Verify patient information and maintain specimen integrity throughout the testing process. Laboratory Operations Process, prepare, and distribute specimens according to established laboratory protocols. Perform waived and moderately complex testing after documented training under the supervision of a qualified technologist. Assist laboratory staff in maintaining efficient workflow and quality standards. Support all laboratory departments as needed to ensure exceptional patient care. Registration & Administrative Support Register patients and collect required demographic and billing information. Enter patient information, diagnoses, and laboratory orders accurately into computer systems. Retrieve, distribute, and maintain laboratory results and records. Maintain regulatory documentation, records, and statistical data. Training & Team Support Assist with training new employees and students on laboratory policies and procedures. Collaborate with laboratory personnel, providers, and healthcare teams to support operational excellence. Uphold the mission, values, and standards of the organization in every patient interaction.
Qualifications:
Education- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience- Previous phlebotomy, laboratory, or healthcare experience preferred.
