None About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Lab Support Technician to support engineering and product development activities in a technical laboratory environment. This position will focus on building, modifying, maintaining, and testing wiring harnesses and test components used in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to build and maintain test infrastructure, perform electrical testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and ready for development and validation activities. What You'll Do Build, modify, repair, and maintain wiring harnesses, connectors, load plates, and I/O panels Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, pin maps, connector documentation, and BOMs Cut, crimp, solder, splice, and assemble wiring harnesses according to engineering requirements Assemble wiring harnesses and components into HIL test benches Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing Support HIL bench setup, bring-up, and troubleshooting Work with engineering teams to implement changes and clarify technical requirements Use hand and power tools to build test panels and other lab components Maintain test equipment and follow prescribed maintenance schedules Update documentation and maintain accurate traceability records Follow established processes, safe work practices, and 5S lab practices Support functional, performance, electrical, environmental, and durability testing as directed What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required 0-2 years of technical experience, OR a 2-year associate degree in Electronics Technology, Diesel Power Equipment Technology, or a related technical field Relevant internship experience may be considered Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and wiring documentation Hands-on experience with wiring, harnesses, connectors, or electrical components Comfortable using hand tools and performing detailed hands-on work Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills Dependable, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a technical team Preferred Experience Wiring harness or control-panel assembly Load plate or I/O panel assembly HIL test bench setup CAN, LIN, or Ethernet communication systems Analog/digital I/O and power distribution Electrical test equipment Equipment maintenance Troubleshooting and basic electrical diagnostics Laboratory or product development environments Why Consider This Opportunity?
