A Laboratory Technician performs routine tests on samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes. Works under the supervision of a medical laboratory technologist in a laboratory or healthcare facility.
A leading healthcare technology organization is seeking a Bioanalytical Laboratory Technician III to support analytical testing and formulation activities within a research and development laboratory environment. This role will perform routine and non-routine bioanalytical testing, maintain laboratory equipment, document experimental results, and support project teams through accurate data generation and analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on HPLC experience and a strong laboratory science background.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine bioanalytical testing and generate accurate, reliable results. Execute laboratory experiments supporting research and development projects of varying complexity. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analytical equipment. Conduct HPLC-based analyses and support data review and interpretation activities. Prepare samples, solutions, and reagents following established laboratory procedures. Document experimental work using electronic laboratory notebooks and approved systems. Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety procedures. Collaborate with project teams and technical staff to support testing objectives and timelines. Learn and implement new analytical techniques as required by project needs. Follow all applicable laboratory procedures, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry , Chemistry , Biology , Molecular Biology , or a related scientific discipline. Experience working in a laboratory environment performing analytical testing. Hands-on experience with HPLC instrumentation and related analytical methods. Experience with Empower software for chromatographic data acquisition and analysis. Knowledge of bioanalytical techniques and laboratory best practices. Experience with pipetting, weighing, solution preparation, and sample handling. Ability to document experiments accurately and maintain detailed laboratory records. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Knowledge of
SEC , CEX , HIC
, or Reverse Phase HPLC methods. Experience with Karl Fischer analysis. Familiarity with UV , IR , and Fluorescence Spectroscopy techniques. Experience with particle sizing, particle testing, or force testing methods. Knowledge of pH measurement, viscosity testing, density testing, and visual inspection techniques. Familiarity with GLP or regulated laboratory environments.

Pay Range:
