Job Summary Seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT) for a 13-week contract position. The MLT/MT will collect, process, and analyze patient specimens and perform laboratory testing to provide accurate results for diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Obtain, receive, process, analyze, and report laboratory specimens. Perform testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Blood Gas, and Phlebotomy . Recognize abnormal and critical results and refer them appropriately. Perform and document quality control procedures. Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory equipment. Perform phlebotomy on patients from neonatal through geriatric populations. Follow infection control, universal precautions, and safety procedures. Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and laboratory standards. Follow drug screening and BAT protocols as required. Complete required education, training, and staff meetings. Maintain patient confidentiality and professional communication. Adapt to changing workloads and complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts. Requirements Completion of an accredited MLT/CLS or MT/MLS program . Associate or Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Applied Science, or a related science field. Current ASCP or AMT certification required. Previous laboratory experience or training preferred. Must be able to perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages. Must maintain an active required certification/license. 3×12 night shifts. 36 guaranteed hours/week. No holiday coverage required.

Pay:

$2,000.00 - $2,041.00 per week
