Job Description

Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLT/MLS)
Location:
Rushville, Illinois 62681
Shift:
5:00 PM-5:30 AM |
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Contract:
13 weeks We are seeking a qualified MLT/MLS to join a hospital laboratory team. This position offers a consistent 3-day schedule with 12.5-hour shifts.
Requirements:
Current ASCP or AMT certification required Completion of an accredited MLT/CLS or MT/MLS program Associate or Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related science Related clinical laboratory experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank, Urinalysis and Blood Gas Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection/processing Review and report accurate laboratory results Identify abnormal/critical results and follow appropriate protocols Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures Operate and maintain laboratory equipment Follow OSHA, HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory requirements Provide professional, patient-centered service
