Year contract The Planet Group is seeking a Calibration/Test Technician to perform routine and moderately complex calibrations, testing, test setups, data collection, and data analysis in accordance with customer requirements and QA program standards. This role supports laboratory and field testing activities, including work performed in nuclear plant environments. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and moderately complex calibrations and testing activities Set up and execute test procedures and collect/analyze test data Maintain accurate calibration, testing, and traceability records Compute, analyze, and document test results Develop conclusions and prepare technical reports Interact with clients and vendors to resolve technical issues Assist with troubleshooting non-conforming or out-of-tolerance conditions Support process improvements and procurement of testing equipment/components Work independently both in laboratory and remote field environments Respond to occasional off-hours or urgent client requests Qualifications Associate degree, equivalent technical education, or PMEL training with no experience required OR High school diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience Basic computer skills Strong problem-solving and communication skills Customer-focused mindset with ability to work independently Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access to nuclear facilities Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. Ability to load/unload company vehicles Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms up to 10 feet Willingness to work onsite in nuclear plant and industrial environments Work may involve exposure to high-voltage equipment and chemicals Some work performed in environmentally controlled laboratory settings and at client sites High school diploma (or equivalent) plus four (4) years of relevant experience.
