A Sleep Laboratory Technician, also known as a polysomnographic technician, performs tests and collects data on patients with sleep disorders. Responsible for giving patients explanations of the impending sleep tests and procedures, preparing equipment for the procedures, recording activities and analyzing results - all while working under the advisement of a clinical director and/or sleep technologist.

Position Summary The Polysomnographic Tech works to provide comprehensive evaluation and treating of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. Education/Experience Certification by the board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is preferred. Will consider board eligible candidate.
