Job Description

Specialist, Lab (Conway, KS)-000H5B Description Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals.
Our services include:
natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. The Lab Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing laboratory analysis (primarily gas chromatograph) for custody quality measurement and product quality control. Providing technical support for gas chromatographs in the regional area. Managing laboratory data for the region. Qualifications The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in chemistry is required. OR in lieu of degree, 5 years extensive industry experience with gas chromatography (both operation and maintenance) and other analytical methods commonly used in the NGL and Natural Gas industry. Experience with chromatography (both operation and maintenance), Wet Chemistry, GPA, ASTM, and UOP test methods in the NGL/Petrochemical Industries. SQC experience in a laboratory environment, supporting charts and standard laboratory data systems. Develop Chromatography specialized test methods and statistical data methods of quality of control. Possess a strong commitment to personal and job safety. Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required. Must possess basic computer skills and proficient in MS Office applications including spreadsheet and word processing. Good verbal/written communication skills, decision making skills and a strong work ethic. Must be accountable and self-driven to learn, and to continuously develop and improve his/her skills through both formalized and on the job training.
