Responsibilities The Laboratory Coordinator Certified functions as a professional who has evidence of advanced technical knowledge within their assigned area of the laboratory. Oversees, coordinates , and participates in quality assurance, performance improvement, laboratory education, new employee training , and proficiency testing when assigned.Qualifications Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or Physical Science . OR Associates degree i n Medical Laboratory Technician. ASCP or equivalent . Certification must be maintained without lapse during employment . If certification does lapse, job will be downgraded to Medical Laboratory Scientist (non-certified) or Medical Laboratory Technician (non-certified) un til certification is reinstated . Current knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques and principles .Preferred Job Requirements:
5 + years ' of clinical laboratory experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Scienti st within a clinical laboratory .Qualifications:
