Laboratory Technician (Mid Shift | 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM)

Family-owned Position Overview The Laboratory Technician plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely analysis of samples across manufacturing operations. This position supports product quality, process control, and customer satisfaction through precise testing, documentation, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Key Responsibilities Sample Analysis Perform routine analytical testing using laboratory equipment such as pH meters, viscometers, and titrators Analyze a variety of sample types to support production and quality assurance Data & Documentation Accurately record test results and maintain organized, traceable documentation Ensure records are complete and compliant with internal quality standards Quality Control Follow established QC methods and procedures to ensure accuracy and repeatability Identify and report out-of-spec results in a timely manner Reporting & Communication Communicate test results promptly to production and quality teams Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational and customer requirements Laboratory Organization Maintain a clean, organized lab environment Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of chemicals, reagents, and samples Standards & Reagents Prepare and standardize chemical solutions and reagents Document preparation dates, expiration dates, and traceability information Instrument Maintenance Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments to ensure reliable performance Identify equipment issues and escalate when necessary Safety Follow all laboratory safety procedures and PPE requirements Support a safe and compliant work environment at all times Qualifications Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) Experience 1+ year experience as a Laboratory Technician or in an analytical testing environment Exposure to chemical analysis strongly preferred Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines Comfortable working in a regulated, production-support environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Adaptable and willing to learn new methods and processes
Schedule Mid Shift:
1:00 PM - 9:30 PM #
