Job Summary:

The Quality Technician is responsible for performing quality control (QC) laboratory testing, documenting results, and ensuring products meet quality specifications before release. This role supports food safety, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining accurate records in SAP. Key Responsibilities Perform QC laboratory testing according to established procedures. Operate laboratory equipment, including Viscometer, Softening Point, Gardner, and other testing instruments. Prepare and manage product samples for testing. Record and enter test results accurately into SAP. Identify and report out-of-specification materials to management. Manage non-conforming materials (NCMR) and support investigations. Perform laboratory equipment calibration and verification. Review and report production and quality data. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and follow good housekeeping practices. Participate in HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety programs and inspections. Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies. Support continuous improvement projects and other quality-related activities. Required Qualifications Laboratory experience is required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field. Experience using laboratory testing equipment. Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems. Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety practices. Basic understanding of SPC, Control Charts, Cp, Cpk, and Standard Deviation is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
