Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support daily clinical laboratory operations. We are ideally looking for a recent undergraduate graduate with a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field and some laboratory experience.
Responsibilities:
Receive and evaluate specimens for acceptance or rejection Accession samples and perform data entry into the laboratory information system Label and aliquot specimens according to laboratory protocols Process samples for testing (e.g., serum, whole blood) Store and manage specimens in designated refrigerators and freezers Maintain accurate documentation and sample tracking Follow laboratory quality standards and regulatory requirements, including Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and College of American Pathologists (CAP) guidelines Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or another science-related field required Recent undergraduate graduates are encouraged to apply Prior laboratory experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow laboratory protocols and regulatory standards Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
