The Medical Laboratory Assistant I role represents the organization in all patient settings serving as a liaison and performs key pre-analytical functions, such as specimen collection, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and order entry. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Thebase rangeis an estimate and does notreflect the full valueofourtotal compensationpackage. The pay range for this position is $19.87to $23.75 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE). In addition to base pay, MaineHealth offerscomprehensivebenefits, recognition programs, career growth opportunities, and,where applicable,shiftdifferentials or other incentives. Summary:
Experienced, qualified applicants are eligible for a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus.This bonus will be prorated forPart Timeor Per Diem positions.

Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.License/Certifications:
PBT/MLA from the ASCP, AMT, or NHA preferred. Valid Driver's License may be required if role involves travel to other work sites/locations.Experience:
Technical training as a Phlebotomist through NorDx Phlebotomy School or equivalent program required.Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
