POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to support laboratory operations on an evening shift. There are 2 openings available to provide coverage for a maternity leave and additional laboratory staffing support during two laboratory IT system implementations.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Duration:

Approximately 3 months

Purpose:

Maternity leave coverage Opening #2

Start:

Mid-December 2026

End:

Mid-November 2027

Duration:

Approximately 1 year

Purpose:

Maternity leave coverage and additional staffing support during two laboratory IT system builds

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday 3:00 PM-11:00 PM 8-hour evening shifts No weekends No holidays

QUALIFICATIONS

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) qualification Relevant laboratory education and clinical experience Ability to work independently and accurately in a clinical laboratory environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care Ability to adapt to laboratory information system changes and technology implementations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform laboratory testing and related technical procedures accurately and efficiently Follow established laboratory policies, procedures, and quality standards Maintain accurate documentation and test results Assist with laboratory workflow and daily operations Support laboratory staff during IT system builds and implementation activities Maintain compliance with applicable laboratory safety and quality requirements Communicate effectively with laboratory and healthcare team members
