Job Description

The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Laboratory Technician to work at a company located in the Kalamazoo, MI area!

PM Mon-Fri Job Description:
1. Perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. 2. Conduct experiments and tests according to established procedures. 3. Maintain accurate test data, records, and documentation. 4. Ensure products meet quality specifications before release. 5. Support and maintain ISO certification requirements. 6. Inspect and approve bulk materials before storage or processing. 7. Participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. 8. Prepare, update, and maintain reports and laboratory records. 9. Monitor environmental alarms and communicate issues to operations. 10. Follow all environmental, safety, company, and regulatory requirements. 11. Handle hazardous waste according to procedures and regulations. 12. Assist with updating operating procedures and batch documentation. 13. Support the development and validation of analytical methods. 14. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. 15. Generate and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs). 16. Manage laboratory inventory and supplies. 17. Maintain sample storage areas and dispose of expired samples. 18. Verify and approve raw material documentation and COAs. 19. Maintain housekeeping and organization standards in the laboratory. 20. Perform additional duties as assigned.
