Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with preschoolers ages 3-5 in a dedicated early childhood special education setting. This engaging role is ideal for SLPs passionate about making a meaningful impact on young children at a key stage of development. Assignment dates run from August 31, 2026, through June 6, 2027, with onboarding required before the start. This full-time position offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week within the school day, from 8:44am to 3:50pm, serving three preschool classrooms. You'll be responsible for a manageable caseload of 25-29 students, collaborating closely with educators and support staff to provide high-quality speech and language services.

Ideal candidates will have:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active state licensure or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong SLP Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply Experience in school, pediatric, or early childhood settings Comfort and experience with IEP development and therapy documentation Familiarity with teletherapy platforms (a plus) Strong collaboration, communication, and time management skills Compassionate, child-centered approach Key responsibilities include: Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans Delivering direct and group speech-language therapy to preschool-aged students Collaborating with teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth Participating in IEP meetings and progress monitoring Utilizing technology and teletherapy where needed to enhance service delivery This opportunity offers a fulfilling role in a collaborative environment, providing the chance to see real progress among early learners.
