Job Description

Laboratory Technical Specialist, Auburn Hills, Michigan:
Perform testing capabilities of the fluid management assemblies in the Automotive industry. Conduct mechanical, chemical, and functional testing on hoses, tubes, connectors, and full fluid-handling assemblies. Oversee calibration, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance for lab equipment. Drive continuous improvement for all laboratory processes. Acquire data after testing and prepare reports with the help of lab view and Daisy Lab software. Proper use of lab equipment for testing and calibration using master gauges. Conduct failure and root cause analysis. Utilize skills such as APQP, QMS, m+p VibControl, SAE, ISO, ASTM, GAGEtrak, NDT, Daisy Lab/Lab View and DVP& R.
Requirements:
Associate's degree or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial field or related plus 24 months of experience as a Laboratory technician in an Automotive Industry.
