Techmark's Laboratory is a quality assurance Agriculture Lab . We process potato samples for evaluation of processing quality. The Lab technician is responsible for the safe handling of potato samples throughout the sampling process. We collect tissue samples for analysis as well as frying chips and fry samples to evaluate for processing quality. This process includes use of basic kitchen tools such as knives, juicers, peelers, etc. as well as basic laboratory equipment including beakers, balances, and analyzers. This is a part-time seasonal job . Our season is typically August through May with very little work available in the summer. We work Monday through Friday but not all five days; typically a work week will be Tuesday, Wed, and Thursday. Normal work hours are between 8-5pm but not 8 hours per day. Expect to work 10-31 hours a week during season. For the right applicant we can offer flexible schedules. This is a great job for someone looking for part time hours, for students and for those looking for something part time with Summers off.
