Job Summary We're looking for a hands-on Test Lab Technician to support mechanical force testing and product validation in a structured engineering lab environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys real technical work — running tests, working with modern equipment, and generating accurate data that supports engineering decisions. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical force testing using Instron and similar universal testing systems Set up fixtures, run test protocols, and record precise measurement data Prepare samples, support engineering with validation tasks, and assist with basic troubleshooting Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab workspace Preferred Experience and Education Experience with mechanical force testing (Instron experience strongly preferred) 2+ years experience in a test lab or an associate degree in engineering (electrical preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures Assignment Details Temporary contract full-time role Expected duration: 3-6 months, with potential for extension based on project needs Pay range: $28
