The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong foundation in laboratory management, anatomy knowledge, and proficiency in various laboratory techniques. The Medical Laboratory Technician will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results. Responsibilities Conduct routine laboratory tests, including blood sampling, assays, and PCR. Must have experience with AU480. Phlebotomize patients for blood collection while ensuring their comfort and safety. Maintain accurate records of test results and ensure proper labeling of samples. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Assist in research laboratory tasks, contributing to ongoing studies and experiments. Collaborate with other medical staff to discuss test results and patient care plans. Adhere to quality control measures to ensure the accuracy of laboratory findings. Experience Proven experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting is preferred. Familiarity with laboratory management practices is a plus. Knowledge of anatomy and related biological sciences is essential. Proficiency in techniques such as blood sampling, assay development, and PCR is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
