Job Description

Full Time Hours 7-3:30 Starting pay $19/ hour for 90 days, then $20 upon completion of training. Metal Lab Technician A Lab Technician is responsible for supporting laboratory operations by conducting tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. This role plays an important part in the manufacturing processes by providing accurate data and analysis. Lab Technician prepares samples, performs tests, and analyzes results in a laboratory setting. They ensure laboratory equipment is in proper working condition and adhere to safety protocols. This is an industrial laboratory focusing on destructive metals testing. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze Metal samples and specimens. Conduct routine and specialized tests and experiments. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Record and analyze data, generating detailed reports. Ensure laboratory safety by following established protocols and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace. Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and order replacements as needed. Collaborate with other laboratory personnel to ensure efficient operations. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must have valid license and reliable transportation. Requirements and Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with safety regulations and laboratory best practices. Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation. Education, and Experience Requirements Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of steel Testing is advantageous but not required. Good spoken and written communication skills. Ability to multitask. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to think analytically and critically.
