Job Description
Position Summary The Laboratory Assistant I is responsible for supporting the laboratory operations through a variety of job duties. These duties support the overall lab business by providing support and quality checks necessary to successfully execute the lab tests. These job duties include but not limited to incoming quality inspection and processing of samples, testing setup and execution of basic tests, laboratory cleaning, documentation review, and data entry.
Shift:
Sunday- Thursday 9:00am
- 5:30pm Pay range: $17.37

The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed Required:
High School Diploma or GED 2 years of experience in Customer service, data entry, or an office setting.Skilled in:
Written and oral communication Basic computer operations using Microsoft Word and Excel Organizing, planning, and prioritizing tasks Solving basic task-related problems Basic mathematical calculations Time management Ability to: Adhere to safety and monitoring self and environment for potential hazards Interface professionally by phone or in person with Customers, employees and visitors Perform data entry using keyboarding, and 10 key speed and accuracy Work in a regulated environment that requires strict adherence to company policies and procedures Read and comprehend rules, schedules, procedures, and instructions Work in high pressure situations Adapt to rapidly changing requirements or work environment Work well in a team environment to support the work of others Work autonomously What STERIS Offers We value our employees and are committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, well-being, and financial future.
