  • Contract Processing Lab Technician Are you a detail-oriented entry-level lab technician with food industry experience, committed to ensuring product quality through accurate testing, documentation, and compliance with food safety standards?
If so, Pride Health has an exciting opportunity for you! Our client, a multinational food organization based in Minnetonka, MN, has a contract opening for a Processing Lab Technician. In this high-impact role, you'll be Responsible for the daily management of laboratory samples, sample processing, and testing.
Important Details:
6-month contract with potential to extend Elk River, MN
  • (Fully Onsite) Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) Pay rate range approved: $18-21/HR, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Processing Technician in the Rapid Analysis Dept. Responsible for the daily management of laboratory samples and document retention systems. Support the processing team in sample preparation and analysis of forage samples Support processing teams with sample processing and testing. Tasks include but are not limited to sample grinding, NIR scanning, labeling, and weighing. Participate in the lab housekeeping program and follow the designated policy Proactively focus on workplace safety and show initiative to work safely and follow policy Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and associated tools Minimum candidate qualifications and experience: At least one year of relevant experience Work effectively within a team, with strong communication skills The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively High School Diploma Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Work Environment:
Leather shoes are required for laboratory work. It is the contractor's responsibility to have adequate footwear prior to the work start date. Contact lenses are not allowed in the laboratory. Various ingredient samples that may contain potential allergens are handled routinely in this facility. Including but not limited to milk, peanuts, eggs, tree nuts, soy, gluten, fish, and shellfish. A clean shave will be required for tasks requiring respirator use.
