Job Description

Seacole-CRC, LLC of Plymouth, MN is a diversified chemical manufacturing and distribution company offering essential products and services to a wide variety of markets worldwide. Seacole specializes in blending and packaging existing customer products, modifying existing customer products, and developing new products to meet a customer's unique needs. We are currently seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician who is creative, motivated, and hardworking, to perform QC testing, analyze customer samples, and assist in increasing our sales through R&D and product development. The position will work with our Senior Chemist and laboratory staff, perform daily QC testing, and assist in moving projects from development through production. This position may also work with our Regulatory and Quality Managers on special projects. Responsibilities
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative testing on raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods using techniques such as auto-titrator, manual titration, GC, AA, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices and in-house procedures.
Knowledge of
ISO 9001
a plus.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
  • Identify and document out-of-specification results and assist with root-cause and CAPA investigations.
  • Assist with the development of analytical methods and generation of standard operating procedures (SOP). Requirements
  • BS in Chemistry, Biology or related field.
  • Experience with chromatography, spectroscopy and statistical analysis software.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and SharePoint). Experience with instrumentation software packages preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of multi-disciplinary team, with strong analytical and math skills.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects and maintain a strong knowledge base of Seacole products and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to project completion a must.

$29.00 - $31.00 per hour
