Job Description

Medical Laboratory Technician III (1st or 2nd Shift)
Pay:
based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, coordinate, ship, and transport patient and donor blood samples. Perform basic donor and/or patient testing procedures and interpret results. Recognize and resolve testing irregularities or escalate as needed. Manage supply and reagent inventory, including ordering, inspection, preparation, and quality control. Maintain equipment, reagents, and records to ensure testing accuracy and compliance. Accurately document and review laboratory data and reports. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Chemistry. 1 year of blood banking experience. Minimum MLT (ASCP) certification. Licensure if required by state Good written and verbal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Basic understanding of basic computer applications including Word. Ability to work on a team.
