  • Safe and stable work Responsibilities Laboratory Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to: The laboratory position is critical to ensuring the timely and accurate execution of procedures, data collection, and analysis.
This role will support core activities, maintain specialized equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards. By providing dedicated technical expertise, the position will enhance efficiency, reduce operational delays, and enable the research team to focus on high-level analysis and innovation.
    Sample Preparation & Testing:
    effluent samples
    • Suspend solids
    Testing & Analysis:
    Conduct a variety of laboratory tests according to established protocols, record observations, and interpret results. Including PH, ammonia, nitrates, phosphates, primary and secondary effluents
      Equipment Maintenance:
      Clean, sterilize, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance
      • Mix liquids, including but not limited to, suspended solids, Ph, ammonia, and Nitrates
      • Run primary sludge and moisture content
      • Run secondary sludge and moisture
      • Run fleshing analysis and fat
      Data Documentation:
      Accurately record and log all data, observations, and results in lab records or databases
        Inventory Management:
        Order, stock, and manage supplies, chemicals, and other materials
          Safety & Compliance:
          Follow strict safety protocols, quality control measures, and regulatory requirements
            Reporting:
            Communicate test results to relevant personnel and answer questions about findings

            • Willingness to learn process with accuracy and following all instructions while abiding by policies, procedures, and safety
            • Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field of study
            • Must be able to read and write in English
            • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
            • Conceptual/Analytical thinking
            • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
            • Self-motivated and self-starter; Eager and energetic
            • Maintain confidentiality
            • Basic computer skills Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
