Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your career in laboratory sciences by leveraging your expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician in a dynamic healthcare setting. In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering accurate diagnostic results and supporting exceptional patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting Proficiency in operating and maintaining a variety of laboratory equipment Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures and quality control standards Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Schedule/Hours:
Details to be provided; flexibility may be required based on department needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology Analyze specimens ensuring accuracy and timeliness of test results Verify, record, and report results to healthcare providers promptly Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instrumentation following protocols Adhere to all HIPAA, OSHA, and facility safety guidelines Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other laboratory staff Participate in ongoing quality assurance and proficiency testing Troubleshoot issues with instrumentation or specimen integrity as needed
