Key Responsibilities Receive, accession, and verify patient specimens according to laboratory protocols Perform routine drug screening using automated chemical analyzers Assist with and/or perform confirmatory testing using

instrumentation Run and document quality control samples and calibrations to ensure accurate results Review analytical data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lab standards Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation as needed Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all laboratory activities Assist with general laboratory organization, cleanliness, and inventory management Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Biology, required. MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) certification preferred but not required if equivalent combination of education and experience is obtained. Prior laboratory experience is a plus, especially in toxicology or clinical testing environments Basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation and analytical techniques Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and be trained on specialized instrumentation and procedures
