A Medical Laboratory Technician helps with the performance of laboratory tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology laboratories, which provide information for medical patient diagnosis and treatment. Sets up, operates, and maintains laboratory equipment, makes observations, and calculates and records results; receives, types, tests, and records blood bank inventories.

Job Description Full time - 8 hour evenings shifts Job summary: The Clinical Laboratory Scientist independently performs routine and special diagnostic procedures on blood and other body fluids from patients of all age groups.
Knowledge/Experience:
One year experience as a generalist clinical laboratory scientist in a healthcare setting preferred.
Education:
Baccalaureate in Medical Technology or equivalent.
License/Certification/Registry:
Current national certification required. Montana State Licensure as CLS required within six (6) months from the date of hire.

Must demonstrate problem-solving ability and ability to perform complex calculations. Must be able to manage stressful situations with tact and simultaneously deliver good patient care. Must be capable of multitasking and prioritization. Must demonstrate exceptional organizational ability. Must demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate flexibility. Must demonstrate professionalism. Must be able to work under extremely busy conditions. •Must be able to provide on call coverage. Must be able to communicate verbally, in writing and electronically. Must demonstrate attention to detail. Must exhibit courtesy and tact. Qualifications
