Job Description
Job summary: The Clinical Laboratory Scientist independently performs routine and special diagnostic procedures on blood and other body fluids from patients of all age groups served by SPH.
Knowledge/Experience:
One year experience as a generalist clinical laboratory scientist in a healthcare setting preferred.
Education:
Baccalaureate in Medical Technology or equivalent.
License/Certification/Registry:
Current national certification required. Montana State Licensure as CLS required within six (6) months from the date of hire.

Must demonstrate professionalism. Must be able to work under extremely busy conditions. •Must be able to provide on call coverage. Must be able to communicate verbally, in writing and electronically. Must demonstrate attention to detail. Must exhibit courtesy and tact.
