Position Title Student Employment - Biology Lab Assistants Posting Number 08047 Position Number 08047 Student Job Category Student - Hourly Job Number of Vacancies 2 Job Description ECU Department of Biology is currently seeking several Lab Assistants to help set up and maintain material for BIOL 1051 and
BIOL 1101
lab courses.
This position will include:
Washing glassware Caring for small organisms Making solutions All student employees are required to follow lab specific safety protocols. Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) This position requires basic science knowledge, organizational skills, working independently, and working in a group setting. All majors accepted. However, science majors are preferred. Special Instructions to Applicant Please upload your resume, a list of references and your Summer 2026 class schedule (if taking summer classes).
