2nd Shift- Lab Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Manufacturing Lab Analyst to join our team. This position will support laboratory operations through metallographic sample preparation, material analysis, and quality testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with microscopes and inspection processes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in both a laboratory and manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Support the Lab Manager with metallographic laboratory preparation and analysis.

Operate laboratory equipment used for cutting, mounting, embedding, and polishing metal samples.

Prepare metallographic specimens for analysis according to established procedures.

Perform material evaluations using optical microscopy and inspection equipment.

Interpret part cut-up drawings and follow testing requirements.

Enter test results and data accurately into laboratory registers and records.

Manage and maintain the internal laboratory warehouse, including organization of supplies and materials.

Work with engineers and management on product development and improvement projects.

Maintain accurate documentation and follow laboratory procedures.

Follow all company quality standards, safety policies, and operating procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.

Previous microscope and inspection experience is required.

Experience in a laboratory, quality control, manufacturing, or materials testing environment preferred.

Ability to operate and learn laboratory equipment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.

Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
