Job Summary The Laboratory Technician performs chemical and instrumental testing of raw materials, stability, in-process and finished products to ensure the safety, efficacy, and compliance of our products. The Laboratory Technician also maintains knowledge of processes and products to maintain our high-quality standards throughout manufacturing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform chemical testing of raw materials, in-process, and final products. Perform pH, wet chemistry titration, brix, moisture analysis, melting point, density, specific gravity testing or other analytical tests as needed. Set up, calibrate, maintain, and operate lab equipment such as Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), spectrophotometer, refractometer, and pH meters. Assist other laboratory team members with in-process-controls, sampling, and laboratory functions. Assist with ordering appropriate material and tools for daily operations. Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice regulations as well as all relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
