The position will also assist with basic laboratory management activities. Responsibilities Work closely and communicate effectively with the Principal Investigator and other lab members on a daily basis. Provide regular progress updates to the Principal Investigator and during group meetings.
Depending on expertise and/or experience:
Conduct molecular and cellular biology experiments and physiological studies using cell culture and mouse models, or focus on high-throughput data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics) analysis using Python. Maintain detailed laboratory records; write, revise, and follow scientific protocols/methods; and record, analyze, and summarize experimental data. Collaborate with investigators and laboratory personnel in other laboratories as needed based on project requirements and research directions. Help maintain an organized and safe laboratory environment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Prior research experience. Departmental Requirements Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
