Job:
Mileage reimbursement if you live outside York County Loan forgiveness of up to $30,000 Tuition/income assistance for students in training Comprehensive benefits package Your Role on the Team As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you'll play a vital part in patient care by delivering accurate and timely laboratory results. Your work will span a variety of lab technologies and responsibilities, including: Collecting and labeling specimens correctly — including DOT-regulated urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing. Ensuring proper specimen identification and correcting any discrepancies. Conducting a broad range of clinical lab tests to aid in diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients. Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting lab instruments according to policies and manufacturer guidance. Evaluating results for abnormalities, answering technical questions, and ensuring data accuracy. Participating in process improvements, equipment evaluations, and procedure reviews.
What You'll Bring:
Associate's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology (or equivalent 60 credit hours with 24 in lab science). ASCP certification (or equivalent) as an MLT is strongly encouraged . Strong grasp of lab theory, testing methods, and best practices. Independent, critical thinker with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Let's build a career that you're proud of!
