Explains procedure and prepares patient for test. Monitors patient during stress testing identifies abnormal ECG's and blood pressure findings reports these findings to the physician. Performs electrocardiograms.; post secondary training or equivalent or training in allied health field.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent Post secondary training or equivalent, or training in allied health field.
BLS Certified Major Responsibilities:
Prepares and monitors patients during stress testing. Identifies arrhythmias; documents and takes action. Records data for interpretation and enters charges into Meditech. Performs ECG's; reviews ECG's for completeness and accuracy. Performs all duties of an ECG technician. Apply Now
