Day Shift Pay:
Starting at $20/hour (Commensurate with experience) Overview Are you looking for a career that's both hands-on and rewarding? Join US Cannalytics as a Hybrid Sampling Agent/Laboratory Assistant and become part of New Jersey's rapidly growing cannabis testing industry. This unique role combines field sampling with laboratory support , providing variety in your day-to-day responsibilities. You'll travel to licensed cannabis cultivators, manufacturers, and other regulated facilities throughout New Jersey to collect representative cannabis samples while maintaining strict compliance with state regulations and laboratory procedures. When not in the field, you'll work in our laboratory assisting with sample preparation, inventory management, receiving supplies, and supporting daily laboratory operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, customer interaction, organization, and working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven laboratory environment. Responsibilities Field SamplingClient Support Travel throughout New Jersey to licensed cannabis facilities to perform compliant cannabis sampling. Collect representative cannabis and cannabis product samples using aseptic techniques. Ensure secure transportation of samples back to the laboratory. Complete Chain of Custody forms, manifests, and electronic documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Accurately weigh and document sample weights, volumes, and quantities. Maintain sampling equipment and field collection kits. Communicate professionally with laboratory clients while providing excellent customer service. Adapt to changing daily schedules based on client needs and sampling requests. Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean, organized, and compliant condition. Laboratory Support Receive, accession, and track cannabis samples within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Assist with sample preparation using aseptic techniques after competency training. Perform sample homogenization when required. Receive laboratory supplies and assist with inventory management. Stock laboratory supplies and notify management of inventory shortages. Perform general laboratory cleaning and organization. Complete data entry, filing, scanning, and other clerical tasks. Assist chemists and laboratory staff with routine laboratory operations. Maintain accurate laboratory documentation in compliance with
ISO 17025
quality standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Ability to meet all New Jersey cannabis employment requirements Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Comfortable driving throughout New Jersey Ability to use personal vehicle for sample pickups as needed Preferred Laboratory experience Cannabis industry experience Customer service experience Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Experience with Microsoft Office and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Self-motivated and dependable Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Adaptable to changing schedules and priorities Professional when interacting with clients Committed to maintaining compliance and quality standards Interested in learning and growing within the cannabis laboratory industry Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Day Shift Regular travel throughout New Jersey Combination of field work and laboratory work based on business needs Pay Starting at $20.00 per hour Pay is commensurate with experience.
