In this engaging position, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and managing biological samples with precision and compassion. Duties Collect a variety of biological specimens including urine and saliva, using proper techniques. Ensure all specimen collection procedures adhere strictly to CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) regulations and hospital policies. Maintain accurate documentation of specimen collection, processing details, and patient information within Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). Manage biological sample storage, labeling, transportation, and disposal in accordance with safety standards and laboratory protocols. Uphold patient confidentiality at all times by adhering to clinical confidentiality policies and data privacy regulations. Requirements Proven experience in medical laboratory work or research laboratory settings, with a strong understanding of laboratory management and techniques. Proficiency in specimen collection methods. Familiarity with CLIA regulations, laboratory information systems (LIS), and biological sample management practices. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration while maintaining professionalism and empathy. Attention to detail for accurate data entry, specimen labeling, and documentation while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while managing multiple tasks with precision.
