Job Description

PeopleShare has an opening for an R&D Lab Technician in Moorestown, NJ. Previous experience within an R&D lab setting required.

Duration:
4 month contract-to-hire
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Pay:
$24-26/hr Responsibilities Developing prototypes in the lab setting Including but not limited to new technology development, cost reduction, product improvement, matching. Tasting and critiquing new developments Tasting and critiquing finished goods in conjunction with quality control for finished product release Provide product recommendations from DVFI product catalogue to sales for customer needs Compounding samples for customer sample requests as needed Assist operations and production with plant trials on production equipment Recording formulas and process data as a result of formulation changes, new formulas and processes Assist quality department as needed for customer complaint investigations Maintaining general cleanliness and organization of the lab, lab equipment, and work area Complete post operational checklists for cleanliness Communicating with multiple departments for new ingredient needs, setup, approval and compliance Basic testing such as pH measurements Calculating product characteristics throughout the R&D process to maintain compliance to the specification
Requirements:
Previous experience in an R&D lab setting or similar college coursework. Understanding of basic computer skills (Office Suite) Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member Highly organized Ability to prioritize and multitask Must be able to stand for long periods Must be able to lift 25 lbs without assistance Travel may be required to assist with customer demos, and trade shows Basic Math skills IND38
