Ensure system availability, reliability, performance, and data integrity while supporting laboratory operations across Quality Control (QC), Research & Development (R&D), and Manufacturing. Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams for timely resolution.

  • 38 per hour work hours: 9am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Laboratory IT Systems Lead Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & System Implementation Lead laboratory IT and digital transformation initiatives from concept through implementation, including requirements gathering, design, testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing support.
Manage system upgrades, software enhancements, integrations, and lifecycle activities. Collaborate with business stakeholders and vendors to implement laboratory automation and digitalization solutions. User Support, Training & Administration Provide technical support and system administration for laboratory users. Develop and deliver training programs, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Assist laboratory personnel in maximizing system functionality and adopting best practices. Manage user access, security roles, and system permissions in accordance with company policies. Compliance, Validation & Documentation Ensure laboratory systems comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including
FDA 21 CFR
Part 11, GxP, GLP, GMP, and Data Integrity guidelines. Support Computer System Validation (CSV) activities, including URS, FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ, risk assessments, and change control documentation. Maintain accurate system documentation, validation records, configuration specifications, and audit readiness. Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Laboratory Management, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Corporate IT teams to identify business requirements and implement effective technology solutions. Act as the primary liaison between laboratory operations, IT, and software vendors. Participate in strategic planning for laboratory technology roadmaps and digital transformation initiatives. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Laboratory Science, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. ExperienceMinimum 5+ years of experience supporting laboratory IT systems within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or regulated laboratory environments. Hands-on experience with LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS, or similar laboratory applications. Experience supporting laboratory operations, quality systems, and regulatory compliance requirements. Proven track record leading system implementations, upgrades, and validation projects.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Laboratory Science, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting laboratory IT systems within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or
  • regulated laboratory environments.
  • Hands-on experience with LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS, or similar laboratory applications.
  • Experience supporting laboratory operations, quality systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record leading system implementations, upgrades, and validation projects.
