Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Laboratory/Technical Assistant (Huda Lab) - Seasonal for the Huda Lab within the Division of Life Sciences. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Maintains animal colony by setting up breeding pairs, separating litters, and genotyping transgenic lines. Assists with experiments by performing behavioral training, microscopy imaging, surgeries, perfusions, immunohistochemistry, and data analysis. Performs experimental procedures including animal surgeries, animal behavior, two-photon imaging, and fiber photometry. Maintains compliance management in accordance with Lab Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee ( ACUC ) and Research and Environmental Health and Safety ( REHS ). Manages supply orders and general lab maintenance. FLSA Nonexempt Salary Details $20 - $25/hourly Offer Information The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position.
