Job Description
Technician High Throughput Screening Princeton, NJ, US On-Site We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our R D Laboratory Automation team. In this role, you will support laboratory automation operations through hands-on lab work, analytical testing, automation support, and basic coding/programming for automated systems and workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative research environment driving innovation across the flavors, beauty, and fragrance industries while gaining valuable experience in automation, data analysis, and scientific operations. Your key responsibilities
- Support the R D Compound Management function through daily laboratory and inventory operations
- Perform inventory management, GC-MS analysis, and automated liquid handling activities
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date databases and records
- Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional R D teams to understand and support project needs
- Program, operate, and troubleshoot automated liquid handling systems We bring

- Associate degree in a scientific discipline with 1+ year of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
- Passionate about developing expertise in analytical chemistry, compound management, automation, and programming
- Industrial or academic laboratory research experience preferred
- Experience with data analysis and SQL preferred
- Familiarity with databases, information workflows, and basic programming concepts
- Experience troubleshooting laboratory instruments, automation systems, or software applications is advantageous The hourly rate provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position.
