The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Summary / Essential Functions Assumes responsibility for the performance of routine, standardized biological and/or biochemical tests, as well as more complex procedures on blood, urine, tissues, body fluids and other specimens that assist physicians in the clinical management of patients, Assumes responsibility of recognizing results or problems that require referral to Supervisor, Pathologist of Scientific and Administrative Coordinator, Performs additional tasks as requested by Chairman of Pathology or his/her designee,
Education:
Associate degree in medical technology or sciences, Knowledge of specialized principles or techniques which would normally be obtained through a formal two year college/university academic program, Registry with a recognized board of registry for medical technology, such as American Society of Clinical Pathologists ASCP preferred,
