OBJECTIVE

The Lab Technician is responsible for conducting lab tests that include cement and oilfield chemicals by following standard lab testing procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow testing procedures and methods
• Maintain a safe and clean laboratory
• Operate standard laboratory instructions
• Prepare mixtures for analysis
• Assist the team on projects as necessary
• Prioritize and complete all tasks assigned to you by your supervisor
• Ensure all chemicals are stored properly
• Maintain chemical inventory
• Calculate concentrations and mix test fluids

EXPERIENCE
