- Perform routine laboratory operations focusing on water samples from arrival in the lab through reporting, following written SOPs
- Ensure sample turnaround time goals as well as other key performance indicators are met
- Conduct quality control analysis in accordance with the laboratory's established program
- Capture and record accurate and complete analytical information
- Respond to requests from Laboratory Manager
- Assist with instrument maintenance and general housekeeping of the laboratory
- Learn new techniques and technologies as appropriate
- Work effectively with other departments
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, with demonstrated success in Analytical Chemistry
- Minimum of 2 years prior laboratory work experience
- Ability to understand and translate laboratory results
- Accurate typing skills
- Communication skills
- Team
