We specialize in analytical and microbiological testing of cannabis and cannabis-derived products including flower, edibles, concentrates, and processed products using state-of-the-art instrumentation and laboratory techniques. We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and dependable individual to join our growing laboratory team. This position combines field sampling responsibilities with in-laboratory support activities and is ideal for candidates interested in laboratory operations, regulated industry compliance, quality systems, and scientific support work. The Off-Site Sampling Technician / Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for traveling to client facilities to collect samples, maintaining chain-of-custody documentation, transporting samples to the laboratory, performing sample accessioning and intake activities, and assisting with general laboratory operations. This is a full-time (40hrs a week) position with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule between approximately 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM depending on client sampling schedules. ____Responsibilities____ Perform off-site sample collection at licensed client facilities using sterile and aseptic techniques. Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation and compliance records within METRC and laboratory information management systems (LIMS). Transport samples safely and professionally in accordance with laboratory SOPs and state regulations. Perform sample accessioning, intake, labeling, storage, and tracking activities. Assist with laboratory organization, cleaning, inventory management, and operational support tasks. Support laboratory quality systems by following SOPs, GLP, GMP, and safety procedures. Maintain a professional and customer-service-oriented relationship with clients during field visits. Assist with preparation and maintenance of laboratory supplies and equipment. ___Preferred Qualifications___ Previous laboratory, microbiology, environmental sampling, pharmaceutical, healthcare, food testing, or quality assurance experience preferred. Experience with aseptic technique, sample handling, or regulated industry environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with LIMS software, chain-of-custody procedures, or compliance documentation is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage field schedules responsibly. Clean driving record and ability to safely transport samples.
