Position Summary We are seeking an entry-level Lab Assistant to support daily laboratory operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience working in a clinical laboratory environment. No advanced laboratory or testing experience is required, but preferred. Responsibilities Receive and handle patient specimens/test tubes within the laboratory. Scan and track test tubes using the laboratory's specimen tracking system. Sort and organize specimens to ensure they are routed to the appropriate testing or shipping area. Prepare and organize test tubes/specimens for shipment to other laboratory locations. Verify specimen information and ensure samples are properly labeled and accounted for. Follow established laboratory procedures for safe and accurate specimen handling. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist the laboratory team with other basic specimen-processing tasks as needed.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
