Mason, Ohio job type: Contract salary: $18.00 - 19.43 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Compound batches and prepare prototype shampoo formulas following exact laboratory batch records. Measure critical test parameters, including pH, viscosity, density, and solid content of experimental batches. Operate, maintain, and calibrate essential equipment such as mixers, viscometers, pH meters, and scales. Track raw materials, chemicals, and laboratory supplies to ensure continuous workspace operations. Document precise experimental data, stability observations, and test results in lab notebooks. Monitor product sample stability under various light and temperature conditions over time.
qualifications:
Required:
Degree in a related scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, and chemical substances. Skilled in operating standard laboratory equipment and conducting basic mathematical calculations. Strong attention to detail, strong data reporting capabilities, and commitment to safety standards.
